It was a real pleasure mixing the audio for these releases and I'm very proud of how they came out! Ali's unique brand of storytelling and comedy sheds a humanizing light on incarcerated people. I've been following Jocelyn's career since I was a college radio DJ at @wumlradio and it's always a dream come true to see her perform, nevermind be the recording engineer for a full album release of hers. @jonlampleymusic 's album "Night Service: Live at @jonlampleymusic 's album "Night Service: Live at Lunatico" is out today and I'm beyond thrilled for everyone involved for how it came out. It's everything you want in a live record: you can hear how infectiously fun the atmosphere in the room is, you hear drinks being shaken, the audience shouting out during solos. You are in @barlunatico hearing world class musicians do what they do best. It was a blast to record, and a serious honor to mix it. Couldn't be more proud of how it came out. Hey! I've never done a proper introduction post so Hey! I've never done a proper introduction post so here it is! I've been working in the NYC audio industry for over 10 years and I've loved every bit of it. I travel around the city (and sometimes the country!) with my mobile multi-track recording rig to record live concerts at many venues. I also run studio sessions out of @douglass_recording, mix and master out of my place, build some of my own pro-audio gear and I've recently gotten very good at baking pies. This past year, I had a blast mixing and producing some releases for Rue Snider, @johnjosephisonline , recording some things with @sydsongs at @douglass_recording , @jonlampleymusic at @barlunatico , @jonbatiste and my passion project of recording live shows @petescandystore , especially the monthly podcast @shayandthegoodpeople.
